Joyce Stewart, the controversial new general secretary of the Barbados Football Association (BFA), has been shown the red card.
But it hasn’t come from the BFA.
The Canadian woman who was brought in to be the BFA’s new general secretary last October, was sent to the sidelines by this country’s Immigration Department.
Stewart was stopped from fulfilling her duties at the BFA’s Fontabelle, St Michael headquarters because she has no work permit to be employed in Barbados, in contravention of the Immigration Act.
