A FIRE OF UNKNOWN origin destroyed a car stationed in the car park at Cost-U-Less, Welches, St Thomas, around 3:45 p.m. yesterday.
An eyewitness said that he heard a sound as if the car was starting and although not very close to the vehicle when he checked to see if someone was in it, the vehicle burst into flames, startling him.
Officers from the Royal Barbados Police Force and Barbados Fire Service responded to the blaze. (JS)
