Family sheds tears

TEARS FLOWED FREELY at Kings Village, Paddock Road, St Michael, yesterday evening as family and friends gathered at the house of the island’s latest murder victim Erskine Gunning.

Gunning, who was stabbed yesterday during an altercation at Paradise Village, Christ Church, died at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital from his injuries.

The death of the 41-year-old father of eight was too much for his girlfriend and mother of four of his children Sunita Wilson. They were in a relationship for 15 years.

There was a steady flow of people at the two family homes located just beyond the gates of the Graydon Sealy Secondary School while agonised cries emanated from the residences.

Sunita, who had to be supported by relatives, was too overcome with grief to speak to the DAILY NATION.
