This weekend the focus will switch to Frank Collymore Hall as top jazz musicians light up the stage for City Nights – The Concert.
The concert comes off with an all-local cast at 7:30 tomorrow evening and Sunday with headliners Arturo Tappin, Marisa Lindsay and CiCi.
As an added bonus, a showcase of award-winning local art will be on display in the Grande Salle until 11 p.m.
Art lovers can catch a guided tour by Denyse Menard-Greenidge, curator of the display, at 6 p.m. tomorrow, signalling the start of the show and the reopening of the newly refurbished Frank Collymore Hall.
According to the manager of the hall, Fran Wickham: “We are pleased to present these three maestros of music who continue to electrify audiences all over the world.
“We are anticipating two nights of soulful music ranging from jazz to reggae and calypso.” (JS)
