Happy 100th birthday, Alberta

BARBADOS’ newest centenarian Alberta Wells is being feted today.

She did not receive a visit from Governor General Sir Elliott Belgrave, but was joined by a group from the Urban Development Commission (UDC) at her 1st Avenue Gills Gap, St Michael home. 

Wells shared a toast with those gathered, while representatives of the UDC presented her with two gifts.

Wells’ niece Patricia Beckles she had no health challenges and was a hearty eater, with a sweet tooth.  (LK)
