Woman rescued from backyard well

The woman who fell into a well at her St Michael home is currently being treated at the nearby Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Police have not released her name, but said the woman, who lives at Henry’s Lane, was rescued and taken to the Accident and Emergency Department for medical attention.

She complained of pain to both feet, her back and pelvis.

Fire, police and ambulance personnel were involved in the exercise which attracted a crowd of curious onlookers.  (PR/SAT)
