Body found at side of road

A PERSON OF INTEREST is assisting police with investigations into the death of a 27-year-old St Philip man.

The body of Jerome Nicholls of Nursery No. 2, Four Roads, was found at the side of the road between Little Bentley and Campaign Castle, St George, along Highway 5 around 6:30 a.m. today.

Reports indicate an individual went to the police station to report an incident, prompting police to go to the scene. The deceased appears to have been a pedestrian.

Police are also investigating a two-car collision which occurred in Windsor, St George around 5:30 a.m. A woman in her 60s was injured in the accident. (SAT/PR)
