THEY WERE FASCINATED to learn that sugar cane grew from seeds.
But the 84 tots from the Wesley Hall Infants schools learnt more than that; they learnt about the biodiversity of the environment as the world gets ready to celebrate World Biodiversity Day on May 24.
The children, aged four to seven, were touring the Sugar Cane Central Breeding Station, in Groves, St George, yesterday.
