Heavenly Hymnspeak

THE HYMNS SPOKE eloquently and were like manna to the hundreds who were blessed by them.

From well before the 7 p.m. start of Hymnspeak, which appears to be one of the more popular events on the Barbados Gospelfest calendar, St Mary’s Anglican Church in The City was overflowing with lovers of hymns.

Using the theme Face To Face, organiser Reverend Dr Mikie Roberts put together a programme of hymns that perfectly expressed the desire and promise to the faithful of coming face to face with their Lord and Saviour.

The evening started with Rejoice The Lord Is King and it was praise, worship and testimonies from then, until Roberts spoke the final word more than three hours later.
