PRIME MINISTER FREUNDEL STUART has declared Government’s intention to make a shift from curative to preventive health care.
The accent on a healthy lifestyle would help to wrestle the “demons” of chronic non-communicable diseases to the ground, he told children of the Seventh-Day Adventist (SDA) Schools yesterday.
Opening a one-week health fair organised by the East Caribbean Conference of Seventh-Day Adventists, Stuart cautioned over 600 students from the Barbados SDA Secondary School and the Bridgetown SDA Primary School: “Be careful what you look at and be careful what you listen to.”
