THE THRUST TO conserve energy and to make greater use of renewable energy sources gained a boost today with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) by the big furniture and appliance retailer Courts Barbados Limited and the Barbados Renewable Energy Association (BREA).
Among other things, the two agencies have agreed to organise town hall meetings with a view to getting the public to make greater use of solar and other renewable energy products.
They will also facilitate the sharing of resources and information and will establish and support collective business opportunities that will financially benefit both parties.
The MOU was signed by Courts’ commercial director Peter Ellis and BREA’s executive director Clyde Griffith at Courts’ headquarters in Bridgetown. (TY)
