Rendezvous, BDF KO final

THERE WILL be new champions of the Banks Champions Cup.

Defending champions Weymouth Wales were taken to the cleaners by Rendezvous on Sunday night at the Barbados Football Association’s Wildey Astroturf, in the second semi-final of the knockout competition.

Wales scored first but fell 4-1 victims to the crowd favourites.

Rendezvous’ opponents in the final will be reigning Premier League champions, the Barbados Defence Force Sports Programme (BDFSP), who edged the University of the West Indies (UWI) 1-0.
