Phase 1 of work on Lodge is over

THE?FIRST PHASE of a $23 million redevelopment project at the Lodge School has been completed on budget without snags and, according to Minister of Education Ronald Jones, fully modernized and futuristic.
Jones gave the project a huge thumbs-up after touring the St John school that has been under construction by Innotech Services since last year.
Before a gathering that included acting principal Vasco Dash, board chairman Patterson Cheltenham, deputy chairman Owen Estwick, and headboy Richard Cole, Jones said he was delighted the four-phase project had gone smoothly so far.
“I never want to hear the words cost overruns and I am pleased that has not been an issue with this project. This makes me quite a happy man for the first time in five months.
