FLOW creating job opportunities

LIME IS NO MORE in Barbados, with Cable & Wireless (C&W) yesterday officially adopting FLOW as its chosen brand and promising to turn the Barbados communications market blue.

And it will also mean new investment of $320 million for Barbados “over the next few years” and a share of 500 regional jobs, possibly including the 200-seat call centre Barbados is competing with Jamaica for.

The announcement came yesterday from C&W Communications chief executive officer Phil Bentley, who flew into the island with other senior company officials for the official rebranding, which is taking place here first. Jamaica will be the next of 16 markets to follow.
