King: US Open tops my list

The year’s last Grand Slam also seems to be the best one, at least for Barbados’ top-ranked tennis player, who admits he prefers to play in New York because of the big Caribbean crowds.

“This is the most important tournament for me for the year,” revealed the 24-year-old King.

“I won a round at Wimbledon and although the tradition at Wimbledon is really great, I always look forward to the US Open where all the Caribbean people are and I get a lot of support.” (JM)
