Elderly couple robbed

POLICE WERE LAST night hunting for two armed men who broke into the home of an elderly St Philip couple on Thursday night and forced them at gunpoint to drive them to one of their businesses.

The bandits eventually got away with an undisclosed sum of money from the business and left the family bound and gagged in their home.

According to reports, after the robbers sneaked into the house, they woke the family and made the woman  drive to a nearby business where they emptied a safe.
