FOR SUZETTE CLARKE, home is now synonymous with tragedy.

The Barbadian-born New York native was last in the island to attend her grandmother’s funeral and now she will be attending the funeral of Christopher Callender, the father of her six-year-old daughter Brieanna.

Callender, 43, formerly of Princess Royal Avenue, Pinelands, St Michael, was fatally stabbed on Saturday night while working security at Club Zanzibar in Nelson Street, The City. He died during surgery at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

Reports are that he was fighting with three men when he was stabbed in the neck. Two other men were also stabbed but survived.
