Colombian coach helping Kellys

Two of Barbados’ most promising young cyclists are training in Colombia and seeking to make a major impact at upcoming international events in September and October.

Brothers Jesse and Joshua Kelly, now coming towards the end of an extended training programme in Bogota with the assistance of Massy United Insurance, have been working with highly rated Colombian coach Manuel Galingdez in preparation for the major events.

The two, along with a third brother, 15-year-old Jacob, who is still attending school in Barbados, will compete in the Tobago Classic from September 29 to October 4 and the Elite Caribbean Championships in Barbados on October 17 and 18.
