PEOPLE WHO SECRETLY record principals or others acting on their behalf, beware. You could be guilty of at least two offences and end up in court.

The emerging trend is becoming a worry for some school administrators and they appear to have the law on their side.

Two secret recordings of principals from a secondary and a primary school, which recently went viral, portrayed both males in a fairly aggressive mode, and the concern was that the short pieces of audio did not give a true reflection of what took place during the meetings.

Information suggests that the primary school principal has sought the services of an attorney, while principal of Parkinson Memorial Secondary School, Jeff Broomes, publicly said he would seek police assistance.
