Sources in the financial sector have confirmed that a regional company with interests in the beverage industry is considering making BHL shareholders an attractive counter offer to better the $4 a share that SLU Beverages Ltd – the St Lucia-registered holding company owned by Latin American conglomerate, AMBEV SA – has put on the table.
