St Lucy service station robbed

POLICE ARE CONDUCTING investigations into a case of robbery which occurred about 7:09 this morning, at the Rubis Service Station, Benthams, St Lucy. 

A female gas attendant was robbed of an undisclosed sum of money by one masked assailant, who was armed with a firearm.

No one was hurt during the incident.

Anyone who can provide information about the robbery is asked to contact police emergency 211, Crime Stoppers at 1-800-(TIPS) 8477, or the nearest police station.

Police reminded the general public, business owners and employees of the importance of exercising a high level of vigilance, ensuring that particular attention is placed on suspicious persons or activities. (PR/NB)
