THE BARBADOS Labour Party’s campaign machinery hit the ground running yesterday evening with leader Mia Mottley declaring that two years was not enough time to meet and bond with constituents.
“There are 7/8 000 people in each district. If you are going to meet the people you need time. With the best will in the world you cannot meet every one in a month,” Mottley said, as she explained the rationale behind the canvassing efforts a little over two years before elections must be held.
Mottley, candidate for Christ Church South Ralph Thorne and previous representative Dr Jerome Walcott took to the streets of St Christopher and Enterprise . . .
