SENIORS AND CHILDREN who take the public service vehicles (PSVs) that have been integrated into the routes plied by the Transport Board will not have to pay.
The integration project gets under way on December 1 on the Sturges, St Thomas, Edey Village, Christ Church, and Martin’s Bay, St John routes.
Director of the Transport Authority, Alex Linton, said the concessions people over 65 and schoolchildren enjoyed on Transport Board buses would now apply to the PSVs.
He said only the seven Transport Authority Service Integration (TASI)-branded PSVs will be servicing the three routes.
Linton, said a ticketing system would be introduced on the PSVs allowing drivers to report daily and give account for being reimbursed for their concessionary rides. (LK)
