Nakisha stable

NAKISHA SHEPHERD continues to fight for her life in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital (QEH).

Reports from her family indicate that she had been sedated and was resting when they visited her yesterday.

Cousin Sherry-Ann Bradshaw confirmed this, adding: “The family is still in shock but we are coping as best as we can at this time.”

When a DAILY NATION team visited the QEH yesterday, many friends of Nakisha lined the hallway outside the ICU looking pensive but hopefully awaiting news of her condition from family members who were meeting with her doctors at the time.

Please read the full story in today’s Daily Nation, or in the eNATION edition.
