AND THEY’RE OFF!

The 70 Nigerian students are on their way home.

Around 8:30 p.m., the group arrived at the Grantley Adams International Airport set to board a chartered flight back home. The students took pictures of themselves alongside a few locals who had come to see them off.

The story of these students, part of the Delta State Youth Empowerment Programme, is a long one fraught with much intrigue and accusations of wrong doing.

However, they persevered and recently received certificates from the Barbados Institute of Management and Productivity in several subject areas. (CA)
