DEFENDING champions Christ Church East Central showed no mercy on St Michael Central during Sunday night’s final of the David Thompson Memorial Constituency Councils Football Competition at Kensington Oval.
Christ Church East Central dominated possession and ran roughshod over St Michael Central as they won 3-0 in front of hundreds of Christ Church supporters.
Tournament MVPand leading goal-scorer Jabarry Chandler, Barbados tennis star Darian King and Sherwin Success all managed to get past St Michael goalkeeper Gregg Jones and ensured that they went home $30 000 richer.
While St Michael Central were the more aggressive, it was Christ Church East Central that showed the skill needed to win the championship.
