IT WAS RAINING GOALS last Sunday night at the Barbados Football Association’s (BFA) Wildey Astroturf as the Digicel Premier League continued with three high-scoring matches.

Table leaders University of the West Indies (UWI) extended their lead at the top of the table to five points when they defeated Phone Medic Repairs Belfield 4-0.

Defending champions Barbados Defence Force Sports Programme (BDFSP) dismissed Claytons Kola Tonic Notre Dame 7-1.

In the feature game, Lumisol Technology Pinelands went down to Rendezvous FC 5-2.

A double-strike by captain Mario Harte led UWI to their 12th win of the season and kept the Blackbirds on course for their first Premiership title. (ROG).
