SLIDING MASTER Geoff Ullyett is at the top of the standings of the Bushy Park Motor Sports Inc.’s (BMPSI) Championship as drivers prepare for Round 3 on July 2 and 3 at Bushy Park.

At the wheel of the Ullyett’s Machine Shop Nissan, he will go to the start line not only with 150 points but also at the top of Group 1, Class 1.

He is way ahead of his nearest rival, Darren Lashley, who will be taking the fight to Ullyett, driving the Peugeot 205XS.

Lashley is also second in the same group and ahead of Adrian Bailey, who leads Gp1/C2 in his Peugeot 205.

The weekend’s racing will also be heightened with the “time attack” competitors joining the BPMSI regulars. The Barbados Karting Association (BKA), racing under floodlights on Saturday evening will also set the tone for a weekend of keen competition. (TT)
