BARBADOS’ AMBASSADOR TO CARICOM Robert Morris has identified education as the most important pillar of society for Barbados’ next 50 years.

Morris was speaking at a Democratic Labour Party lunchtime lecture the party’s George Street, St Michael headquarters today.

“Education is the most important thing we have to focus on in the next 50 years as it has been our main focus for the past 50 years,” Morris said.

“Education is the difference between my grandfather, my father, me, my children and my grandchildren. Our opportunities are so far different only because of our education,” he added. (AD)
