THE VECTOR CONTROL UNIT of the Ministry of Health continues its efforts to eradicate the Aedes Aegypti mosquito next week with fogging in several parishes.
On Monday: Areas to be fogged in St Michael will be Dunlow Lane, St Paul’s Avenue, Beckles Road, Gittens Road, Bay Street, Bayland, Chelsea Road, Dalkeith, Chelston Avenue and the environs.
On Tuesday: The team will be in Christ Church and St Philip, fogging Woodbourne Park, St Patrick’s, Bright Hill, Hopefield, Charnocks, Lowthers Hill, Fairview, Searles, Leadvale and surrounding areas.
On Wednesday: Fogging continues in Christ Church when Maxwell Coast Road, Dover, Paradise Village, St. Lawrence Gap, Rockley Terrace, Rose Garden, Blue Waters Garden, Rockley, Golf Club Road, Harmony Hall, Worthing and neighbouring districts will be targeted.
On Thursday: The team will be in St Philip and Christ Church spraying Peat Bay, Apple Hall, Inchcape Terrace, River Land, Lynches, Sargeant’s Village, Bartlett Road, Smith Road, Tino Terrace and the environs.
On Friday: The exercise will be carried out in St Thomas and St Michael. Areas to be fogged will be Cane Garden Park, Canewood Road, Jackson, Jackson Terrace, Jackson Tenantry, Free Hill with Avenues, Black Rock, Stanmore Crescent, St Stephen’s Hill, Goddard Road, University Drive and the surrounding areas.
Fogging will take place daily between 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. Householders are reminded to open their doors and windows to allow it to enter. (BGIS)
