WEST INDIES manager Joel Garner has brushed aside suggestions from outspoken allrounder Dwayne Bravo that the regional side is disorganised.
In a swift response to claims by Bravo, who took issue with the timing of the West Indies Cricket Board’s (WICB) decision to sack coach Phil Simmons, Garner said the team management in Dubai was disappointed, but not surprised by the comments.
Speaking on Trinidadian radio station i95.5 FM, Bravo said the team environment was low-keyed during the three Twenty20 matches against Pakistan, asserting the players and the management were lost.
“The management of the West Indies team in Dubai is disappointed, but not surprised by the comments made in the press by Dwayne Bravo,” Garner said in a statement yesterday. (HG)
