A RANCH in St Andrew played host to Prince Harry yesterday.
The fifth in line to the throne visited Nature Fun Ranch, which is owned and operated by talk show moderator Corey Lane.
The ranch, which runs a programme for troubled teens, currently plays host to about 45 children from seven years to 24 years old.
They greeted the royal visitor at the entrance and gave him a rousing welcome, shouting the ranch’s slogan Naturally Positive Attitude.
The Prince then interacted with the teenage ranchers, viewed some of the 14 horses at thefacility and then toured the expansive property, which includes an archery range, a circuit and an obstacle course.
He later joined Lane as well as founderand chairman of the Barbados Vagrants and Homeless Society, Kemar Saffrey, and head of Barbados Gays and Lesbians AgainstDiscrimination (BGLAD), Donnya Piggott, along with members of the HIV/AIDS Commission and the teenage ranchers for a chat afterwards. (HLE)
