BASED ON THE CROWD that filled the Pirates Cove venue Sunday night for the last leg of the Hennessy Artistry three-day event, FAS7STAR might have a staple on their hand.
While it could be said that the show was a copy of Reggae On The Beach, it seems a beach party is a crowd-puller in Barbados.
The crowd at Hennessy Artistry On The Beach slowly started building from just after 7 p.m. as DJ music ushered in the early birds – early in the sense that the first act, Jamaican Kandie, didn’t perform until almost 9 p.m. with her back-up dancers.
Since it was a beach party, swimsuits of various designs, strategically made to highlight certain parts of the body, were evident, while the men, some a little overdressed for the sandy area, made sure they were not outdone. (NS)
