PARENTS OF CHILDREN attending Combermere School want to hear from the teachers.

This is against the background that many students have not had any formal teaching since Combermere was closed about five weeks ago on environmental grounds.

Close to 100 parents and the executive of the parent-teacher association (PTA), along with some students in uniform, marched from Queen’s Park around 9 a.m. yesterday across Constitution Road to the Ministry of Education to deliver a letter to Minister Ronald Jones outlining their concerns about the next step forward for the school, especially the first to fourth formers. Fifth and sixth formers have resumed classes at other locations.

Some of the protesters carried placards outlining their concerns. (LK)
