Jumpers clinch early victories

WHO WILL run away 2017 champions of the Pine Hill Dairy National Primary Schools Athletics Championships?

This question will be answered at next Wednesday’s final at the Usain Bolt Sports Complex.

But for two athletes their fates were decided when they managed to make the winning jumps in the girls’ and boys’ high jump open finals yesterday.

Sharon’s Primary’s Samiya Dell and Jaedan Best of St Paul’s Primary seized wins, jumping 1.47 metres and 1.34 metres, respectively. (RG)
