RESIDENTS OF Valery in Brittons Hill are complaining about what they call a lockout of the community pavilion, which is administered by the National Sports Council.
One resident, who gave his name as “Don”, said the issue had been going on for years and it was past time that it be resolved.
“It is not right that St Paul’s Primary School children can’t use the facilities to do their [athletics] eliminations today,” he told SUNSPORT last Thursday.
“The pavilion is supposed to open every day from 8 a.m. until late in the night and for years we can’t get access when we need it. This is madness.” (RA)
