Kellman: Taking time to do things right

DON’T MISTAKE OVERGROWN bush at the state-owned housing units in Parish Land, St Philip, for a sign of poor management.

Minister of Housing and Lands Denis Kellman defended the National Housing Corporation (NHC) when it comes to maintenance of the developments.

Recently, member of the Opposition Barbados Labour Party Dr William Duguid posted a video on Facebook which showed bush growing around several properties.

In response, Kellman said that what appeared to be negligence was an attempt to manage the properties in a systematic, cost-effective manner. (LT)
