MORE THAN 100 staffers of the Psychiatric Hospital have recently completed training to enhance their skills.

Nurses and other staff of the hospital completed training in Basic Life Support, Heart Saver First Aid and Basic Tactical Defense and Restraint. The successful staff members were presented with their certificates at a ceremony at the hospital this morning.

The $35 000 for the training was provided by the Human Resource Development arm of the Ministry of Labour. Human resource strategy coordinator Orville Lynch said the training fit within the five pillars of the strategy. (YB)
