WHEN IT’S NICE, you usually do it twice. And that’s exactly what Skinner House did yesterday during Alexandra School Sports at the National Stadium.
The defending champions amassed 881 points to beat second-placed O’Neal House by a mere 5.8 points. Third-placed was Frederick House with 735.6 points, while Arnold House copped 729 points and Lysons House made 486.8 points.
At the beginning of the 4 x 100-metre relay races, O’Neal was in the lead with 790.8 points, while Skinner followed close behind with 782 points. Third was Frederick, followed by Arnold, while Lysons brought up the rear.
In the Under-13 Boys relay, Frederick gained a 25-metre advantage in the second takeover, and taunted their opponents looking back all the way over the line, finishing in 59.65 seconds. (RA)
