Williams: Solar farm wait too long

IT’S BEEN THREE YEARS now Ralph “Bizzy” Williams has been playing the waiting game.

But the prominent businessman is still warm to the task of developing the country’s largest solar farm at Cane Garden, St Thomas.

Williams first applied to develop the farm back in 2014, and the proposal is still in the midst of the application process at the Town Planning Department.

A recent DAILY NATION check with the Town Planning’s registry showed the application was with Senior Town Planner Paula Smith for her assessment.

Efforts to reach Smith were unsuccessful. (BA)
