Maxwell grab sixth straight

MAXWELL HOUSE notched up another title at Grantley Adams Memorial Sports at the National Stadium last Friday.

They marked a six-year winning streak with 965 points. Challenor were second with 681, Crawford third on 655.5, Johnson fourth was Johnson with 473.5 and Buyer fifth on 221.5.

Roneldo Rock of Johnson House was the victor ludorum with 64 points. The Under-20 star won the 100, 200, 400, 800 and 1 500 metres, placed third in the discus, and fifth in the javelin and shot put.

“It feels really great because I didn’t have much competition, but Shakeem Boyce pushed me all the way,” said the confident Rock.

The victrix ludorum was Maxwell House’s Under-15 competitor Sheyenne Catlyn, who got 59 points. She won the 100, 200 and 400 metres, placed third in the 800 and second in the 1 500 and long jump.
