WITH the Regional Super50 Cup safely in the bag, Barbados Pride will be hunting a double crown when the Professional Cricket League first-class championship resumes, next month.

Head coach Emmerson Trotman believes with the Barbados Pride playing all five of their second round matches at home, the team have an excellent chance of capturing the title.

“The whole idea is to try to do the double. We are at home now, so that is a bit of advantage to us. so if we get the pitches the way we want to get them, then we should be successful also,” Trotman declared after returning home from Antigua on Sunday.

“It will be a lot of hard work again. We have two practice games coming up shortly and then we can just assess things from there,” he noted. (EZS)
