Dear Christine,I was reading the NATION on-line and I came across this article in your column and when I read it I said to myself he hasn’t stopped yet. I am talking about the article that was published on March 10, Workmate A User And Nothing Else. Please publish this letter as well so that more people may come forward and save some vulnerable person from getting hurt financially and emotionally.
I am now a resident in New York and I too was used by the man who lives and works in the south and drives a white car. He would only come by when he wanted to have sex or wanted money. He would always come with the excuse that something is wrong with his son, who is differently able, or he wants something for one of his other children. Mind you, he has three children from three different women.
I bought him clothes, gave him money to buy a car, which he didn’t buy. I practically spent well over $10 000 on this man, then to find out that he was seeing two other women. My family warned me about him and I only listened when I had nothing left, not even him. I was so devastated that I decided to leave the island.
The person who wrote the letter is so right – nothing he has he buys; everything was given him by some woman or another because he likes women to support him, yet still he is not even supporting his children properly.
He never has anything to give you because he wants to keep up with the fellows at his workplace.
I hope the one he is seeing now will wake up and smell the coffee before it is too late.
What he does is that he moves in slowly by sleeping in every night to make you think he has no other. But when he finds the money and sex are not coming, he would just throw you away like garbage. He was sleeping with me every night too and still had these other women. So Miss Flare, be very careful.

Thank you for your revelations and words of advice.
I sincerely hope those women who read this column and know the man in question would recognise the pitfalls that could confront them if they become involved with him.
It is so sad when any man or woman exploits others emotionally to achieve their material ends. That level of deception is the deepest cut of all and is totally unacceptable.
It is nice to know that you have moved on with your life. I am sure users like this man will in time look back at those whom they used and realise how they lost out on that rare, precious commodity – true love. But by then it would be too late.
