A COUNCIL member has blown the whistle on the Barbados Football Association (BFA), alleging foul play with its rules.

Unhappy that the BFA has decided against amending its rules, first year council member Roland Butcher has resigned from his post on the executive board of management.

Butcher, the head coach of the Academy of Sport, University of the West Indies, Cave Hill Campus, handed in his letter of resignation late Tuesday over differences with the BFA’s policy on the eligibility of UWI students.

When contacted by SUNSPORT, Butcher gave only a brief comment. (EZS)
