THE ENTIRE PRIVATE SECTOR of Barbados is being called out with a “sense of urgency” to address this country’s burgeoning economic problems.
Barbados needs to adopt a renewed effort to “keep our economy on track”, says Barbados Private Sector Association (BPSA) chief executive officer Anne Reid, and that is why the BPSA is calling the meeting.
It is scheduled to take place on Friday at the Lloyd Erskine Sandiford Centre at 4 p.m. BPSA is the umbrella body for private sector associations in the island.
Reid told the MIDWEEK NATION yesterday that with its leadership having expressed its views on the importance of urgent action, now was the time for the wider membership to make their position clear. (SC/BGIS)
