THE 2017 Barbados Secondary Schools Athletics Championships (BSSAC) are over, but the fans are still roaring for The St Michael School Cougars, the undisputed boys kings.

When the BSSAC awards were held yesterday at the Christ Church Foundation School, The St Michael School walked away with the lion’s share of trophies.

High jump champion Aaron Worrell, and 400 metres winner Antoni Hoyte-Small led the long list of winners from the new boys champions.

Worrell, the first gold medal winner for Barbados at this year’s CARIFTA Games, broke the Zonal meet long jump record with a leap of 6.69 metres and triumphed in the high jump in the finals. (MK)
