IT IS A GOOD TIME to be in Barbados, and tourism is in a good place, Minister of Tourism Richard Sealy declared yesterday.
Boasting of the ongoing activities and plans for the rest of the year, he told delegates to the 31st Caribbean Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors Congress at Hilton Barbados that big things were happening.
Sealy said events like the congress were what Barbados was good at.
This was against the backdrop of a regional event for Toastmasters, masters squash, which were held over the weekend, the four-day congress, Crop Over and CARIFESTA, which are just around the corner, and several other major calendar events through year-end. (YB)
