KENSINGTON MAY HAVE just set the stage for entertainment.

The Oval’s outfield will be saved from additional wear and tear now that Kensington Oval Management Inc. (KOMI) has finally acquired its own $300 000 mobile stage to host entertainment shows.

The sleek 40×32-foot structure arrived at Kensington on Wednesday evening in the form of a trailer container before KOMI officials were trained in unfolding the hydraulic stage in the Party Stand area yesterday.

“We’re excited about this because we feel this ushers in a new era in stage production and concert and entertainment production. We’re relieved because we had some challenges in terms of the timelines,” said KOMI board member Ricky “Laker” Williams.(JM)
