Beaten girl seeks compensation

THE LESTER VAUGHAN SCHOOLGIRL who suffered a beating at the hands of her schoolmates will be seeking compensation.

A video of the vicious attack, which went viral on social media, showed the 15-year-old being chased, beaten and kicked by several students.

It drew much attention from the public, who expressed outrage.

“My client is seeking compensation for her injuries,” attorney at law Verla Depeiza told the media outside the District “D” Magistrates’ Court yesterday.

However, she did not give further details. (TKS)
