Vauxhall, West Terrace final

VAUXHALL AND WEST Terrace will meet in the final of the Pine Hill Dairy National Sports Council’s Primary Schools Netball Competition at the National Stadium, tomorrow.

West Terrace edged Grantley Prescod 12-10 in their semi-final yesterday with Skye Spencer-Layne netting eight of 10 attempts and Sierra Rayside scoring four goals from six shots.

For Grantley Prescod, Kimberley Phillips scored six of 10 and Azariah Ashton was flawless, sinking all four of her shots.

Earlier, Grantley Prescod defeated Lawrence T. Gay 16-13 in a rescheduled quarter-final match with Phillips and Ashton scoring eight goals each. Tiana Morris (8/9) and Jaiala Bourne (5/9) were the shooters for Lawrence T. Gay.

In the other semi-final, Vauxhall defeated A. Dacosta Edwards 10-7, courtesy a fine shooting display from Makayla Lynch, who scored nine of her ten shots.

Mariah Chandler added the other goal while Kiara Taylor netted all six of her attempts and Ranisha Clarke scored the other goal. (EZS)
